WE ARE WHAT WE EAT

 Greetings 🌼



This is something we've all been listening to since childhood, by parents, teachers, and caretakers. Since all our elders managed to mention this at least once to us, this may be something we should spend some time thinking about. Our nutrition is deteriorating visibly. And we are aware of it.

We even want to change it, but guess what keeps us from achieving it? 

IT'S THE FOOD WE CONSUME EVERY. SINGLE. DAY!!


So let's understand what exactly " We are what we eat" means

Well, we are aware of the digestive process, so, in the process of final digestion that place in our small intestine, maximum absorption of nutrition is done. So how much nutrition do you think a burger or a packed juice would provide. After the absorption of these so-called nutrients, we feed our body every day is carried to the rest of the body and also the mind. 

Let's say if you ate a bowl of fresh and well-cooked vegetables intact with the nutritional value, Congratulations, your body is going to feel happier because that was exactly what it was meant to eat. The nutrition will reach the body and mind, which in turn, will help the mind be more enthusiastic, alert, and active. 



Regular researches are being conducted to identify how and why there is an increase in mental problems from an early age nowadays. It can depend on what the mother eats during the gestation period or could be the eating habits of the child itself.

Have you ever wondered why you have such a hard time making a decision, I think it is pretty obvious by now. Aggression, anger, confusion, depression are all results of consuming more bad food and very little of the good food.  

The junk food that we eat is infused with qualities that make us addicted so that we keep spending our money on it for the rest of our lives. We have got to make a decision now.





Enough of discussing the problems, let us now move our attention to how we can begin eating healthy


RIGHT REWARD

Rewarding ourselves on achieving the smallest goal is the best feeling. Sometimes rewards are shopping, watching a movie and most of the time, it is going to be a treat. We need to learn to reward ourselves better. 


BEING BUSY

Doing something that you love will always and always keep you busy and your mind completely engrossed in the particular activity.

Starting something is easy but maintaining the pace is actually the real task. So surround yourself with videos, articles, or books to remind yourself all the time.


EAT VEGETABLES ATLEAST ONCE IN THE DAY

You can always take baby steps and then go all out. So, to include vegetables in your meals, you can start by eating them once in the day for a week or two and then increase the frequency, quantity, and variety slowly.
